Jericho is a proud community that boasts a long and successful record of winning soccer teams! A Lasting Mark is happy to announce our Inaugural Jayhawk Cup Alumni Soccer Tournament.
Come join us at Jericho High School this Thanksgiving weekend on Friday, November 24th, at 10 AM, as alumni players compete in the Inaugural Jayhawk Cup Alumni Tournament! The day will be full of fun, music, raffles, refreshments, and competitive soccer games. All with the players looking for bragging rights of being Cup Champions! All the proceeds from our event will go towards research and improving the quality of life of those that suffer from Pediatric Scleroderma.

Jayhawk Cup Rules
Check In:
-All teams must check in at least 30 minutes prior to their first game at registration table.
-All players must sign a waiver form prior to getting their t shirt and playing their first game.
-Players cannot play for more than one team.
Game Specifications:
-Games will be 2 15 min halves
-5 min Halftime
- 7v7 (6 outfield and 1 goalie)
-Up to 5 substitutes permitted within a game (12 players max per team)
-Penalty spot is 8 yards from the goal.
Game Rules:
-Substitutions can all be done on the fly for all players, but the goalkeeper. Goalkeeper substitutions can only be made in stoppage in play and with ref’s consent.
-There will be offsides with leniency.
-Kick-ins will be in place of throw ins.
-Slide tackling is not permitted. Sliding for the ball, with no contact with an opposing player is permitted.
-All free kicks including kickoffs are indirect kicks.
-Referees and tournament staff have the right to eject anyone who is overly aggressive or endangering other players or fans.
-Team not present at the start of game may be subject to a forfeit at tournaments discretion.
-OVERTIME: if a game is tied at end of regulation, teams will go to penalty kicks shootout. With 5 players from each team permitted to shoot. If tied after 5shots it goes to sudden death penalty kicks.
Each team will play 2 games. The top 4 teams will move on to a semifinal game and a finals game. Playoff games will be decided by record and point differential. (If a tie exists to get into playoffs it will be decided in a penalty shootout who will advance.)
